Privacy policy

PlatanosVerdes runs a few private, self-hosted services under platanosverdes.com for a small group of family and friends. This page explains what happens when you sign in to one of them.
What is collected
Sign-in goes through Cloudflare Access. When you choose Google, Google shares your email address, your name and your profile picture with it; when you choose a login code, you give your email address. Nothing else from your Google account is requested.
What it is used for
Your email address is only used to decide whether you may open a service, and to show who is signed in on that service's own page. It is not used for advertising, not sold, and not shared with anyone else.
Where it is kept
- Cloudflare keeps a record of each sign-in (email address, time, IP address, service) as part of Cloudflare Access. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- The lists of who may open each service hold email addresses only.
- A service may keep who invited you and when, so its owner knows how you got access.
- Your browser keeps a session cookie so you do not have to sign in on every visit.
Removing your data
Ask the person who invited you, or write to the support address shown on the Google sign-in screen, and your address will be taken off every list. Cloudflare's own sign-in records expire on Cloudflare's schedule.
